Christmas in July 2007 yielded over $10,000! With the funds raised we were able to:

• Increase funding of UNO scholarships for non-traditional women students;
• Provide money to purchase books for those who applied for the scholarship;
• Funding for Crescent House projects, a shelter for battered women and their children;
• Added to our established funds for ongoing French Quarter improvement projects;
• Establish a fund for Lindy’s Place, a residence for women in transition;
• Continue ongoing support of community activities.
