            Membership Info

General Membership meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month (unless otherwise noted) at a member business in the French Quarter. The meetings alternate monthly between luncheons with speakers and evening networking sessions. Members whose businesses are not located in the Quarter can present their products and services with a table display.

The meetings provide a forum for support and problem solving among members, networking, and discussions of issues affecting the Quarter.

Thanks to our New Members at
Pet Asylum for hosting the June Meeting.  Welcome!

$30,600 - Donated to help renovate 3 flooded/gutted homes via Pam's Passionate Birthday Wish on April 3

Pam Fortner, FQBWN Board Member and owner of Tropical Isle and other fabulous French Quarter bars recently hosted Pam's Birthday Party Fundraiser at the Original Tropical Isle at 600 Bourbon.   All proceeds were donated to the St. Bernard Parish Project Organization http://www.stbernardproject.org/  and Pam matched the total amount raised.

Here is the recent update from Pam:

My sincere THANKS to all who participated in any way. With your help I raised $30,600 (thirty thousand, six hundred dollars) and the total can continue to grow with your help for such a wonderful cause. All info you
need is at www.stbernardproject.org  this 501c3 group is very innovative
and finds volunteers and donations of materials and with a small staff creates miracles. Katrina Storm flooded and gutted houses in St Bernard Parish are renovated and the target individuals are single parents, school teachers, elderly and first responders. Remember, no donation is too small. Nails have to be bought - etc. Thurs, April 3 was a busy night in the New Orleans area and myself and the attending members of this organization appreciated all who came and there were lots of locals and visitors. The musical talent abounded. The "LATE AS USUAL" band www.tropicalisle.com with Al Miller, John Autin and Scott Welker (now in
Georgia) returning and current regular members, Dwight Breland, Alan Hebert and Bruce Bono. Making special appearances were David Raines
www.davidstromain.com and Greg Talmage, www.gregtalmage.com budding country music stars. If anyone else wants to donate to this group it will be wonderful.

You can send checks made out to:
